Brian Brumfield

Brian has been practicing law for fourteen years in the areas of corporate and business law, residential and commercial real estate and entertainment law. He has practiced and litigated in Miami, Atlanta and Los Angeles on behalf of clients ranging from a multi-national cosmetic corporation, independent film studios, production companies, REITs, real estate developers and various other companies and individuals.

Brian recently brokered a merger of two multi-million-dollar companies providing legal, financial and tax advice to maximize the profits and minimize the tax liabilities the new company would encounter. In addition to his legal practice, Brian has a passion for giving back to the community. He provided pro bono services to indigent clients on behalf of Public Counsel in matters relating to Chapter 7 and 13 Bankruptcy, guardianships of person and estate and immigration law specifically DACA and AB900 matters. During this time, Brian was awarded the 2016 William J. Lasarow Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service in Bankruptcy.

Brian graduated from the College of Charleston with a B.A. in Corporate Communications, and later attended Florida State University where he received his Juris Doctor. He is a member of the California, Washington State, Georgia, Florida and Washington, D.C. Bars. Brian is admitted to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida, United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, United States District Court for the Central District of California and United States Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. Brian is also a licensed California Real Estate Broker.
